From the untimely and heartbreaking losses of legends to the tragedies that plagued the world and everything in between, 2016 will go down as a year many will want to forget.

But throughout all the negativity and mourning, we were gifted some truly incredible music. With albums from David Bowie, Leonard Cohen, Chance the Rapper, Bon Iver, Beyoncé, Radiohead (and so many more), these songs and albums will serve as reminders that not everything from 2016 was hopeless.
